JOHN Wybar of Aldeburgh returns from Aberdeen University to make his debut for Suffolk in the Anglian League match against Norfolk at Great Yarmouth and Caister on Sunday.

Also making his firs-team debut will be 15-year-old Rhodri Harston of Felixstowe Ferry. Harston has played for the Welsh Under-18 team against Ireland this year and is the reigning Welsh Under-15 champion. He also topped his age group in the Midland and East Anglia section of the Faldo Series after rounds at Royal West Norfolk and the Dukes course at Woburn.

With Jamie Abbott (Fynn Valley) and Jamie Moul (Stoke by Nayland) competing in the St Andrew's Trophy and Will Wright (Rushmere) unavailable, Suffolk will be looking for stability from the most experienced members of their side such as Brad Wilkins and Chris Smith (Fynn Valley) and Alex Holmes (Gorleston).

James Reiss (Aldeburgh) and Michael Swan and Liam Brace from Stoke by Nayland are younger team members keen to establish themselves.

Norfolk are missing Austin Brydon but field county champion Daniel Henderson, matchplay champion Chase Davis and teenage county Open champion Stuart Ballingall.

The Norfolk team is: David Marshall (Barnham Broom), Simon Clark (Great Yarmouth and Caister), Daniel Henderson, James Palmer, Simon Locke (all Royal Norwich), Stuart Ballingall (Dunston Hall), Chase Davis and Kevin Pratt (Costessey Park).

The Suffolk second team meets Norfolk at Haverhill. David Quinney returns to county duty on his home course at Coupals Road. Kevin Eagle of Rushmere and Paul Whittle of Stoke by Nayland provide the experience. The youthful enthusiasm will be provided by Paul and Hugo Dobson (Fynn Valley) and the Stoke by Nayland trio of Scott Brace, Owen Pearl and Rob Murray.

The Norfolk second team, with one place to fill, is: James Olllington, Alex Beckett, Steve Tidy (all Costessey Park), Stephen Chick (Dunston Hall), Nick Paling, Bruce McQuade and Tom Robinson (all Royal Norwich).
