AS if we needed any reminder that Christmas is only around the corner, an Ipswich watersports club is busy organising its annual festive event – in which it wants YOU to take part.
The Ipswich Snorkel Club is once again getting set to host the Boxing Day 'around the pier swim' and is on the hunt for anyone with the courage to take part.
This fundraising swim is now a regular feature in Felixstowe and routinely attracts dozens of spectators.
All swimmers will be taking part as a fundraising initiative and will be wearing wetsuits which can be hired locally.

Carl Studd, who is helping to organise this year's event, said: "It might seem a long way off but the days leading up to Christmas are going to pass by really quickly now and we want to start getting a list of names together.
"It's a great event because everyone gets a great adrenaline kick out of taking part, and we always have a lot of people turning up to wish us well."
