IPSWICH Athletic face the prospect of being excluded from the Touchline Sports Suffolk Senior Cup.
Their case over possibly fielding ineligible players against Ransomes Sports was being heard by the competitions committee of Suffolk FA this week.
If Athletic are found guilty, cup favourites Debenham Leisure Centre will play Ransomes in the quarter-final on January 6.
In a separate issue, senior clubs Capel Plough and East Bergholt have been excluded from the Metaltec SIL Omnico Cup this season because they failed to return necessary forms in time.
