TOMORROW sees the final match of Great Blakenham's Premier League cycle speedway season against Southampton.

Earlier in the season when the two clubs met in the British Team Championships at Southampton a tremendous meeting ended in victory for the home club.

The meeting ended all square and only after an extra six heats did an eventual winner emerge.

The meeting tomorrow is vital because if Great Blakenham win they will be Premier League Champions. Horspath from Oxford have one more point but no more fixtures. A draw tomorrow would mean a run-off meeting against the Oxford club to find this year's champions.

Great Blakenham will be hoping for a good all round team performance as opposed to Southampton who will rely on individuals such as British Champion Gavin Wheeler and Shaun Woodhouse.

The action starts at Mill Lane, Great Blakenham, at 3.00pm.
