GLEN Bradlaugh, who brought success to Ransomes including winning the Omnico Cup last season, has become part of the Ipswich Athletic management team.
He has become joint manager with long-serving Jimmy Marjoram and has agreed to help out until the end of season.
He will then make a decision on 2007/08.
Bradlaugh was one of the original founder members of Athletic in 1977, and he progressed as a player under the management of Marjoram.
When he left Ransomes after eight years the plan was to spend more time watching son Tom, who had moved from Ransomes to AFC Sudbury.
Athletic are looking to the new pairing to lift them out of the bottom reaches of the Senior Division of the Metaltec SIL and start building for next season.
Ironically, Peter Gorham is now in charge of Ransomes having previously helped manage Athletic earlier this season.
