STONHAM started brightly and Harrall had the ball in the net early on, but the effort was disallowed for a foul for pushing.
Taylor released G Brown to beat Andrews from the edge of the box after 18 minutes to put Stonham one-up. Taylor had a similar chance a minute later, but blazed well over.
Bergholt were looking for the dangerous Gedny all the time. Stokes wasted a free kick when well-placed as Bergholt continued to press, and the half ended with Stonham doggedly defending their slender lead.
Percy tried to lob Lay and Gedny was narrowly over as chances became more regular. Bennett shot tamely at Andrews when clean through and Morling fluffed a chance when found by Moye.
A great ball by Rodwell put Bennett through to put Stonham two up on 75 minutes. Norman brought down Morling in the box and from the penalty G Brown made it 3-0 on 85 minutes as Stonham guaranteed senior football for another season.
