THE Felixstowe 72nd Open Bowling Tournament continued at the Felixstowe and Suffolk Bowling Club with the start of the Men's Triples sponsored by SEH Windows and Doors Ltd. The weather stayed dry throughout the day with long periods of sunshine to keep both players and spectators happy and some fine bowling was witnessed.

Last year's winners Ian Meickle, Mel Saggers and Gerald Coles of the host club beat D Smith and I English of Sproughton BC and Terry Brundish of Stone Lodge 27-10. Previous winners Jack Brackenbury of the Rookery BC, Andy Meikle and John Roper of the host club also went through, beating S Preston, Steve Mayes and Colin Ramsey 17-15.
