Christchurch II 4 Felixstowe II 0
TWO goals in each half gave Christchurch seconds a comfortable victory in Division One of the Suffolk League.
Christchurch pressed forward from the start but Felixstowe's defence held firm until the 12th minute when a short corner resulted in Deborah Munro giving them the lead.
Catherine Edwards' run down the left wing stretched Felixstowe and Christchurch continued to dominate the play with the Felixstowe keeper working well to keep out shots from Margaret Gray.
Christchurch had two goals disallowed and also hit the post before the inevitable second goal arrived courtesy of Gray after 28 minutes.
The second half saw the same pattern of play, with Felixstowe defending stoutly and making rare breaks forward. Joyce Jay added the third after 43 minutes and with two minutes left, Munro completed the scoring.
