COLCHESTER United have completed the signing of experienced central defender Chris Coyne from Luton Town.The U's swooped to snap up the Hatters club skipper at lunchtime, after tracking the 29-year-old Australian for the last couple of weeks.

COLCHESTER United have completed the signing of experienced central defender Chris Coyne from Luton Town.
The U's swooped to snap up the Hatters club skipper at lunchtime, after tracking the 29-year-old Australian for the last couple of weeks.
A number of other Championship clubs were interested in signing ex-West Ham defender Coyne, but it is the U's who have secured his services.
“It's great news for the club that we have managed to sign Chris (Coyne). He is a defender with experience and leadership qualities, and he will be available for our match at Bristol City this weekend,” confirmed U's boss Geraint Williams.
