TWO sides that came into this game looking for a win for different reasons had to settle for a point apiece from a disappointing match.
Woodbridge needed to respond to their defeat at the hands of Ely two days ago and Wanderers were looking to pull away from the lower reaches of the Premier Division.
The best chances in a game generally lacking incident all came in the final few minutes. For Wanderers, Jamie Baker sliced his shot wide from in front of goal and seconds later, after Dean Garnham lost possession in the act of making a routine save, Aren Howell was unable to direct his shot into an empty goal from a tight angle.
Then, in stoppage time, a free-kick from Simon Gray from 25 yards beat Jason Evans in the visitors goal, only to rebound off the bar.
