ENGLAND fans arriving in Moscow today for the crucial Euro 2008 qualifier against Russia tomorrow got a chilly reception.
They were greeted by three inches of snow which fell overnight on the Russian capital.
Ipswich supporters were among 6,000 England fans forced to wrap up warm against the icy blast.
One Town fan, Andy Fairchild, of East Bergholt, said the weather was a big shock to the system. However, he was looking forward to an England victory, or a draw at the very least, which would see the team virtually assured of a place in the Euro 2008 finals.
