FOLLOWING up last week's story about foul play at Melton Recreation ground, Albion Mills player Scott Evans confirms that dog problems exist in two Ipswich parks.
Evans says: "On Saturday Albion Mills play at Dumbarton Road and the problem is so bad we bring a spade to clear the pitch. On Sundays we play at Gippeswyk Park and the problem is the same.
"Spending time clearing dog excrement off the pitch is off-putting. I have no complaint over the standard of pitches in both parks.
"Although they are council maintained they are in great shape. But the council must enforce stricter rules to clear this out of control stinking mess up."
