A HESITANT Woodbridge defence let in Ebanks to put Exiles in front with just two minutes on the clock and although they shared a fair amount of the first half play Woodbridge failed to test Sadler in the Exiles goal in the Ross Taylor Cup final.
Ebanks again in the 40th minute gave Exiles a two goal cushion at half time.
Danny Green pulled a goal back for Woodbridge in the 55th minute but they had to survive a fierce reply from Exiles and had to defend deeply.
Shots from Finlayson and Ebanks were charged down and Woodbridge keeper Mitchell made a diving save from Wilcock.
Woodbridge tried hard for an equaliser but Exiles were in no mood to surrender their lead and finished worthy winners.
