MELTON St Audry's took all three points from this first encounter between these two in the Senior Division.

The strong wind spoilt the first half where chances were few and far between. But in the second half both teams played positively.

Calver was denied on three occasions by Saints keeper McKenna who made excellent saves.

The home side was left to rue these misses because Saints continued to push forward. Dunnett wasted a good chance before substitute Welham crossed for Fryatt to climb above his marker and head the winner in the 80 minute.

Credit to both sets of played who concentrated on playing football and not the predicted fireworks.
