Delivered by Suffolk Sport, the event saw over 1,300 children aged between six and 16 take part in 17 different competitions encompassing sports such as cricket, handball, netball and track and field.
The Ipswich-based events were held at Westbourne Academy while the golf competition was held at Stonham Barns and the West Suffolk events at Woolpit Cricket Club, Abbeycroft Leisure Centre and King Edward VI School.
Suffolk Sport’s Children and Young People Officer James Payne said: “We had a fantastic two days and we were really pleased with how the competitions went.
“There were lots of smiling happy youngsters taking part and volunteering and, along with the opening ceremony, it was an excellent celebration of school sport in Suffolk.”
