BROTHERS Nathan and Martyn Fisher are go-kart champions – but their dad, Steve, failed to complete a family hat-trick of honours.

Nathan, 12, won the junior 100-lap championship at Anglia Indoor Kart Racing in Ipswich, with 13-year-old Martyn collecting the senior crown, again over 100 laps.

But reigning champion Steve saw his title snatched away by Chris Nunn in the adult event after he missed two earlier races and dropped down to finish fourth overall.

All championships are run on Formula 1 lines, one a month over six months, and the next will get under way in October.

It costs £20 to enter each event, a bargain compared to regular prices because apart from the 100-lap race there is also a five minute qualifying period.

Anglia Indoor Kart Racing are located at Farthing Road, Ipswich, and places in the various championship events can be booked on (01473) 240087.
