NORWICH City goalkeeper Robert Green is to join West Ham - and not Charlton - subject to agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.

The Canaries yesterday confirmed they were in talks with Charlton for the services of Green, who missed the World Cup with a torn groin muscle.

But the 26-year-old now appears to be heading to Upton Park, where he will be re-united with his former Norwich team-mate Dean ashton.

It is understood that Norwich have agreed a fee worth up to £2million with the Hammers for Green, who has made 241 league and cup appearances for Norwich.
