GORLESTON maintained their recent run of good results at Humber Doucy Lane to end Wanderers recent resurgence. Gorleston took the lead on the 11th minute when an unmarked White rose to head home from a corner. Barnett in the home goal then did well to deny Ingram before visiting keeper Cooper was forced into action when he turned a long range Baker effort around the post.
The home keeper Barnett then produced an excellent reflex save to deny Sinclair before Wanderers levelled on 42 minute when Jermaine Harewood's cross was flicked back by David Head and Danny Smy volleyed home. Wanderers piled on the pressure in the early moments of the second half but Gorleston gradually came into the game and took advantage of poor marking when White headed home his second goal from a Cubitt free kick.
Wanderers had struggled all game to cope with the Gorleston's strike duo of Ingram and Woodridge and eventually they combined to set up Gorleston's third when Ingram was put through on goal and he struck a low shot beyond Barnett.
Wanderers created two late chances through Winston Harewood and substitute Burman but Cooper in the visiting goal saved well on both occasions.
