LEWIS Hamilton remained defiant after missing the chance to secure the Formula One drivers' crown today, insisting: "Don't worry, I can still do it".

The 22-year-old Briton was all set to seal the championship at the Chinese Grand Prix ahead of McLaren team-mate Fernando Alonso.

However, conceded the lead before seriously deteriorated tyres prompted him to spin out and retire on lap 31.

His lead over Alonso has been cut from 12 points to four after the Spaniard came second, behind Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen.
