BRITISH boxing star Ricky Hatton will return to the ring this year, the 31-year-old has confirmed on his website.
BRITISH boxing star Ricky Hatton will return to the ring this year, the 31-year-old has confirmed on his website.
Hatton, who hasn't fought since being obliterated in two rounds by Manny Pacquiao last year, will resume training after a family holiday in February.
No opponent or venue has yet been arranged, but Hatton expects the bout to be held in the summer.
IBF light-welterweight champion Juan Urango, highly-respected Mexican Juan Manuel-Marquez and fellow Brit Amir Khan, the WBA light-welterweight champion, have all been rumoured as possible foes for Hatton.
