IPSWICH slipped to a single goal defeat at Kenilworth Road this afternoon.
An 81st minute header by Steve Howard from Ahmet Brkovic's cross was enough to settle the outcome of a drab Coca-Cola Championship encounter.
Richard Naylor returned to the Town team after serving a two-match suspension and partnered Alan Lee up front while on-loan Blackburn defender Jay McEveley made his first appearance for Town since suffering a serious knee injury at Cardiff in November.
