STOWMARKET Town manager Dave Hubbick is a big fan of the newly-formed Ridgeons League reserve section.
He said that it has already had a dramatic effect on the fortunes of his club.
“We have had a steady stream of youngsters come into our first team this season,” said Hubbick.
“They can now develop playing against youngsters of their own age and not face the much more physical battle they found in the Kent Blaxill Border League.
“The new league is going to make a huge difference to us - and to many other clubs as well.”
