GOALS from Louise Carter and Jackie Gooderham helped IES complete the double over Hertford and chalk up their eighth win in Division Two South of the Printwize East League.
The visitors carved out a few early chances and finally went ahead when a pass from Abigail Adams saw Carter flick the ball past the keeper.
IES looked the stronger of the two teams and although Hertford pressed, Jan Taylor soaked up attack after attack.
Gooderham increased the IES lead and Mayhew hit a post before Hertford reduced the arrears, but despite a last-ditch short corner effort, IES held out to claim all three points.
