SOCCER: Jim Magilton has a personal score to settle with his Ipswich team-mate Hermann Hreidarsson when Northern Ireland play Iceland tomorrow.

Magilton was ribbed mercilessly by Hreidarsson after Iceland beat the Irish 1-0 in Reykjavik back in October.

Magilton was ribbed mercilessly by Hreidarsson after Iceland beat the Irish 1-0 in Reykjavik back in October.

Northern Ireland went down to a last-minute goal following a mistake by goalkeeper Roy Carroll, and the defeat was the start of a six-match losing run which signalled the end of their World Cup hopes.

It was an experience Magilton did not enjoy, and he would love to get his own back over Hreidarsson at Windsor Park.
