Northern Ireland went down to a last-minute goal following a mistake by goalkeeper Roy Carroll, and the defeat was the start of a six-match losing run which signalled the end of their World Cup hopes.
It was an experience Magilton did not enjoy, and he would love to get his own back over Hreidarsson at Windsor Park.
