Table tennis fans in Ipswich took advantage of the spring sunshine on Saturday as new equipment was officially opened in Christchurch Park.
And to celebrate the opening of the two new table tennis tables, which are located near the Reg Driver Centre, fans of the sport brought their bats for friendly games.
The tables, which the Friends of Christchurch Park applied for funding for to make possible, have been supported by a number of organisations in the town, including Ipswich Borough Council.
Speaking ahead of the official unveiling, Nicola Johnson, Friends committee member, said: “We are very pleased that it has come to fruition.”
