IPSWICH Evening Star Witches, who have been drawn to face Eastbourne Eagles in the Knock-Out Cup, start their Sky Sports Elite League programme with a home match against Wolverhampton on Thursday, March 21.

Although the fixture list is embargoed until next week, a draft has been completed and shows Ipswich having their traditional Good Friday home and away matches against King's Lynn.

They will be for league points this year with Foxhall Stadium staging a 2.30pm meeting and Saddlebow Road the return at 7.30pm.

Ipswich stage the home leg of their KO Cup-tie against the Eagles on Thursday, April 25 with the second leg at Arlington two days later.

Ipswich ride at Coventry in the league on Saturday, March 23 and go to Wolves two days later. On May Day, Monday, May 6, the Witches are set to entertain Peterborough in the league with a 2.30pm start.

The league season is set to end in August with the new play-offs for the championship taking place in September. This is for the top five teams.

Ipswich have set aside the first three Thursdays in September for this. Ipswich have two home meetings against Poole scheduled for live televised coverage on Sky Sports – May 16 and June 25. Their away match at King's Lynn on August 14 is also set to be televised.

The Witches have their press and practice days in the week ending March 16 and on that night they will be running a Billy Sanders memorial meeting to give their riders match practice before the competitive meetings begin.
