Ipswich Town’s 2017/18 season has got off to a good start having won six out of the 10 games they have played.

The Blues are currently eighth in the EFL Championship table with 18 points, just six points behind the leaders, Cardiff City.

Town’s triumphant victory against Sunderland saw Mick McCarthy’s team win 5-2. It was only the second time the club had scored five goals in a match under his management.

Despite having only played 10 games so far, when the majority of teams have played 11, the Blues are the second highest scoring team with 20 goals, second to Hull City with 22 goals who are sitting 17th in the table.

October has been an infamous month for Town in the past, having won just one game out of 23 in the last five years during the month.
