YOUNG midfield star Jack Colback is looking forward to returning to the club he trained with as a boy when Ipswich Town travel to Middlesbrough on Saturday - but has pledged it will be like any other game.
The 19-year-old, on loan from Sunderland, was a Newcastle fan as a youth and also trained with his heroes at St James' Park before choosing to sign for the Black Cats.
Sunderland felt right straight away,” he said. “It was an hour's drive to Middlesbrough and when they asked me to join them as a schoolboy I was having fun with my local junior side and did not take it.
“Along with my father I felt that Sunderland was best for me ands so it proved.
“If I am selected on Saturday it will be just like any other game for me at Middlesbrough as it is a long while since I had any connections with them.”
