Chelsea are faced with more bad news today as striker Didier Drogba's apology for throwing an object back at Burnley fans may not be enough to save him from a Football Association charge and a Metropolitan Police investigation.

The 30-year-old was prevented from celebrating his first goal of the season in the 27th minute by an object, thought to be a coin, thrown on to the pitch.

Drogba, threw the object back into the crowd and may now face an FA investigation and a possible misconduct charge.
