IPSWICH Town lost for the first time this pre-season last night when they went down 5-3 at home to Premier League side West Ham in a thriller.
Town's goals came from Veliche Shumulikoski, Owen Garvan - who has just signed a new three-year deal - and Alan Lee.
The Hammers got a hat-trick from England striker Dean Ashton while ex-Town loanee Mark Noble scored with a scorching 25-yard drive and notorious former Norwich star Craig Bellamy also got on the scoresheet.
