Ipswich Town Ladies lost 6-4 at home to bottom side, Bedford, in the Women’s Premier League (SE) on Sunday.
Ipswich led 1-0 and 2-1 at Paul’s Sports and Social Club but conceded two goals in 30 seconds to trail 3-2. They eventually pulled back to 4-4 before succumbing to defeat.The Blues’ goals came from Ellie Rossiter, Lucy Du Plooy, Amanda Crump and Dani Bitten.
Next Sunday, the team then travel to Ipswich Wanderers, in the Suffolk FA Cup, before a home game against Luton, at Paul’s on November 23 (2pm) kick-off.
Ipswich finish the month on November 30 with a mouth-watering clash against FA Women’s Premier League leaders, Cardiff, in the last-16 of the League Cup, at Humber Doucy Lane.
Admission for games at Paul’s is free, with games at Humber Doucy Lane, the home of Ipswich Wanderers, costing £3.
