In this week’s Ipswich Town nostalgia, we look back to April 5, 1999, when the Blues beat QPR 3-1 at Portman Road in front of the club’s biggest home crowd of the season, 22,162.

After the interval, the Blues took the lead via James Scowcroft on 65 minutes following the award of a contentious free-kick on the left. Mark Venus took it with his left boot and found Scowcroft to finish.
