IPSWICH Town manager Roy Keane has confirmed that he is keeping tabs on the Sol Campbell situation.
The former England international left Notts County after one game this week, and Keane said today: “It's a maybe. There will be plenty of interest in him, and if his contract was terminated I don't think he can play before January.
“But like any player potentially becoming available who can improve us I am keeping tabs on the Campbell situation.”
Keane also confirmed that youngsters like Reggie Lambe, who scored a hat-trick for the reserves on Wednesday, are available for possible loan.
“Getting them out in the real world and playing games can be a plus for all parties.
“Scouts are always watching our reserves, but there has been no contact with any other manager over Colin Healy who also did well on Wednesday.”
