Media from across the country and around the world were all vying for space in Portman Road's modest facility, with one onlooker describing a forest of cameras and a mood akin to “awaiting royalty.”
The press conference is Keane's first chance to publicly state his reasons for coming to Ipswich, his aims and ambitions for the team and his plans for next season.
