IPSWICH Town boss Roy Keane is expecting a tough, physical battle from Crystal Palace on Boxing Day, after Neil Warnock's men won 3-1 at Portman Road earlier in the season.

Stern John will not be able to play against his parent club, while Grant Leadbitter and Jon Walters are both suspended.

"I'll be expecting a tough, physical battle from Crystal Palace," warned Keane.

"We'll be expecting it, but then dealing with it is another matter.

They turned us over at our place, but we were very poor that day."

Midfielder David Norris has a chance of figuring in a game over the festive period, as does defender Alex Bruce. Both are on the way back from injury.
