SHEFKI Kuqi today said he expected to be fit for the visit to Preston on Saturday week.

He said: “I am having a scan today, but it is not as bad as when I strained my hamstring against Charlton on March 15.

“It is in a different place and I was able to walk away from the ground.

“I am happy in my own mind that I can play the last two games - and the play-offs.”

Alex Bruce is expected to be fit for the trip to Wolverhampton on Saturday after being forced to come off after 56 minutes. He said: “It's a bit of a hamstring problem up by my backside, but it is nothing much.
