Middlesbrough v Ipswich Town: 'Quotes'.

Ipswich Manager Roy Keane blamed the fact that his lowly team conceded goals too easily in their defeat at Middlesbrough this afternoon.

And the Blues boss also bemoaned a lack of gaol threat at the other end of the field.

He said: “it was another poor performance from us.”

“I thought we did ok from box to box but we could not find the net at one end and conceded too easily at the other.”

“Conceding goals as we are is making it difficult for us at the moment and it is a bit of a horror show.”

“Gareth McAuley had two good headers that did not go in and you could say that we are not getting the break of the ball. But you must anticipate these things to take advantage of the situation.”

“Our new players did ok but you can not win matches with three players, however much difference that they make themselves. I have made changes and have given players opportunities and some other may get an opportunity against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday.”

“I am frustrated and disappointed but I am not panicking. So much can change after October or November and as I said, I believe that within this league sixth place is still a realistic ambition.”
