IPSWICH Town were held to a draw in a thrilling match that had everything but goals at Portman Road this afternoon.
The Blues Coca-Cola Championship hopes took a dip on a day when they went close on numerous occasions and had one very strong penalty claim turned down.
In Town's last Saturday home league game of the season they missed a number of key players through injury and suspension, but with six games to go they are still well placed for a top six finish.
This point moved Town back up to a play-off place with Charlton and Wolves playing this evening.
Town's strong penalty claim came just before interval when Michael Mancienne clearly pushed Alan Lee in the back in front of goal.
