IPSWICH Town have confirmed they have agreed a two-year deal with Ivan Campo and he will join them next week after a medical.
Blues chief executive Derek Bowden said; “We have agreed terms with Ivan over a deal and he will be at Portman Road on Monday for a medical.
“If everything goes well with that, and we have no reason to believe otherwise, then he will sign.”
Campo held talks with manager Jim Magilton last Tuesday after watching Town lose to West Ham in a pre-season friendly at Portman Road the night before and returned to Spain to sort out personal matters.
