NEW Ipswich Town winger Carlos Edwards has told how he is looking forward to the challenge ahead at Portman Road and being reunited with former boss Roy Keane.

In a video shot in Honduras as the 30-year-old prepares for a World Cup qualifier with Trinidad & Tobago, he said: “I had two or three good years at Sunderland but, as they say, sometimes all good things come to an end.

“I'm just looking forward to a new challenge and meeting up with my old manager once more.

“The manager at Sunderland (Steve Bruce) made it clear about my age, I obviously turn 31 in October, but you have to look after yourself and fortunately I have done so.”
