So manager Joe Royle will be hoping Dean Bowditch emerges unscathed from tonight's England Under-19 clash in Belgium.
Bent, 21, has not trained this week after limping out of Town's 2-0 win at Sheffield United last weekend.
He was forced to pull out of the England Under-21 squad for last night's 2-1 defeat by Holland at Derby.
