IPSWICH Town boss Joe Royle was today hot on the trail of an international player to boost his injury-hit squad.
Royle said: "I'm hoping to hear one way or the other today. I can't reveal the name just yet as it may alert other clubs."
He continued: "Suffice to say I'm negotiating at the moment with the club and player concerned and am hoping for the best, but if I'm unsuccessful then I'll turn elsewhere."
