Woodbridge Athletic 2 Stonham 0

Athletic's keeper Glyn Dixon kept the home side in this game with some excellent saves against Stonham who were reduced to ten men on the 35th minute when Neil Harrell was sent off.

Stonham's Moy, Bennett and Brown all had opportunities to score, but Dixon excelled particularly in the second half.

Athletic's Lloyd Smith blazed over the bar from six yards after Lay had parried Broom's shot.

Evans opened the scoring for Athletic on 87 minutes when his low cross shot went under Lay's body into the corner of the net.

Stewart then settled the points with a hard low shot after good work from Boutelle.

Stonham were always prepared to push forward but were unable to stop Athletic gaining their third consecutive win, therefore securing their senior status for another year.
