SIGNED, sealed and about to deliver. That's Ipswich Town's latest signing Shefki Kuqi, the Kosovo-born Finland striker, who has made his move from Sheffield Wednesday to Portman Road permanent.

The powerful front man is delighted – and is now looking to shoot the Blues back into the Premiership.

Kuqi has made a big impact in his short time on loan, scoring four goals for Ipswich before today's Nationwide League First Division match against Cardiff City at Ninian Park.

And he is confident he can fulfil his footballing dreams under Blues boss Joe Royle.

"The Premiership is my goal and I have every chance of reaching that with Ipswich," said Kuqi, who scored within five minutes of coming on for his debut at Watford on September 27.

"I've loved every minute of my time in Suffolk, and am very happy to be staying here. I see this as an ideal club to achieve my big football ambition – playing at the highest club level.

"I know my goals will be important and I hope to deliver enough to secure promotion."

Kuqi, 27, is the first permanent signing by Ipswich since goalkeeper Kelvin Davis arrived on a free transfer from Wimbledon during the summer.
