CROSTYX, without doubt the most aggressive side in Division Two North of the Printwize East League, ensured that they weren't beaten by two Suffolk sides in consecutive weeks.

Having previously lost to Ipswich thirds, they took the game by the scruff of the neck from the start and were three up by the interval, although one shot came from just outside the area.

IES stepped up a gear after the break and reduced the arrears after a shot from Abigial Adams put Crostyx in such a spin that they deflected the ball home themselves.

Avril Adams brought off some great saves to deny Crostyx further goals and the home side's poor discipline earned them several cards, but IES were unable to take advantage against an outfit they won't miss should the Essex side gain promotion.
