CHRIS Louis today stunned the speedway world by announcing: "I am on my way back."
The 34-year-old former world number three and British champion is to return to the track and ride for the Ipswich Evening Star Witches in the Sky Sports Elite League.
With Daniel King named as a confirmed starter last Friday, Louis' surprise inclusion completes the 2004 Ipswich side for a campaign that starts in March.
