Brantham 3 East Bergholt 3
East Bergholt should have had this local derby wrapped up after 20 minutes as they got off to a terrific start.
Coles powerfully headed them into the lead after five minutes and this was doubled seven minutes later when Pratt rose at the far post to head back for Gedny to touch home.
Brantham pulled one back on 25 minutes when Crowley's free kick was met by Gorham only for Andrews to block. Osbourn did well to keep the ball in play and Rudge gleefully slammed home from six yards. Brantham equalised on forty minutes. Partridge took a free kick from a similar position with Gorham again winning the ball for Osbourn to sweep home.
At the start of the second period a fine move by the visitors released Jorgensen down the right and he picked out Mongan fifteen yards out and he duly fired home. Brantham responded almost immediately when Rudge tricked Jorgensen into a silly tackle right in front of the referee who had no option than to give a penalty. Gorham comfortably slotted the ball to the left of Andrews.
