NEW Ipswich Town manager Jim Magilton is writing to every lapsed Portman Road season ticket holder in a plea for them to change their minds and stay loyal to the Championship club.
The passionate Magilton is convinced he can bring the good times back to Portman Road - and is appealing to hesitant supporters to give him their backing - with the help of a discount scheme.
Season tickets sales have dropped off after a mediocre 2005/06 campaign under previous manager Joe Royle - and there is no secret that extra sales will increase Magilton's player budget.
