FORMER Ipswich boss Sir Bobby Robson is inspiring current captain Jim Magilton to continue in football after hanging up his boots.The 34-year-old midfielder is already considering a career as a coach and manager once his playing days are over.
FORMER Ipswich boss Sir Bobby Robson is inspiring current captain Jim Magilton to continue in football after hanging up his boots.
The 34-year-old midfielder is already considering a career as a coach and manager once his playing days are over.
And he admitted: "I heard Sir Bobby talking about football being his drug and I realised I could identify with his sentiments. I'm like that too.
"It's my passion, football, and when I see he is still doing it at the very highest level in his 70s, and after such a fantastic career, I can see myself going the same way."
